The term ROBE means Revenge of Buffalo Errors. It refers to the first discovery of the phenomenon in error form on U.S. coins minted with a buffalo in 2005. The letters in the name remain fully capitalized in respect of the 63 million buffalo that were killed in the wanton slaughter of the past as well as today. And last, the word ROBE is synonymous with all the hides taken and fashioned into robes, blankets and clothing.
